Pete the Cat

Thanks to those parents who carefully prepared 'Pete the Cat' Thanksgiving story for us. It was quite a difficult story, but you manage to make it easier.

Colours, numbers and shapes

This is a complete activity you can do with your kids at home. We revise basic colours, numbers till 6 and shapes. After tracing the numbers and cut them out, ask them to hand up a card. You can use a wide range of vocabulary. They will bring home the cards so you can play during the weekend.

First Basketball Steps

Teacher Marta prepared two small hoops to throw the ball as basketball players do. After trying the easy way, some changes were done:

• circling a cone before throwing the ball
• jump before and after throwing the ball
• raising our leg before throwing the ball

We had a good time!

Psicomotricidad

Psicomotricidad lessons are divided into three different parts:

• warming
• activity itself
• relaxation

Some activities we do are: jumping in/out the hoops, running and walking in different ways, walking through a rope, circuits, exploring with the balls, playing with the hoops, running around the cones...

Handa's surprise

Diego's daddy (4 years B) told us 'Handas Surprise' story. Then, we had the opportunity to touch, smell and guess some animals and fruits. We couldn't see anything because we were wearing a scarf on our eyes.

Vocabulary: banana, pear, mango, mandarine, orange, pineapple, grape, zebra, monkey, elephant, bird and sheep.

It was a complete activity and we could revise previous vocabulary and learn new one.

Thanks a lot for that activity, they were curious and excited!

Autumn hunt

On a windy day, our explorers went to an Autumn hunt. Around the playground we must find all Autumn signs and then, cross them out in our poster. It was a windy and cold day, but we could find all of them! Well done!

Ten Autumn symbols were found. We learnt we are a TEAM, it doesn't matter if some explorer didn't find an Autumn symbol since we work together.
